Can you remember the biggest show from HBO in the past one to two years that made insane buzz? Well, it has to be The Last Of Us. The ratings and viewership were so great that people started calling it a modern classic.
Well, the second season is on a fast paced development and we finally have a big update.
The popular HBO series has added four new cast members. Let’s meet them:
Danny Ramirez, who you might have seen in “Top Gun: Maverick” and “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” will play Manny. He’s a soldier who tries to stay cheerful, but he carries some old pain and worries he might let his friends down.
Ariela Barer, known from “Runaways,” will be Mel. She’s a young doctor who wants to help people, but it’s tough in a world torn apart by war.
Tati Gabrielle, from “You” and “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” will portray Nora. She’s a medic struggling with things she did in the past.
Spencer Lord, seen in “Riverdale” and “Family Law,” takes on the role of Owen. He’s a kind person stuck in a tough situation, forced to fight even though he doesn’t want to.
These new actors join an already great cast, including Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as Joel and Ellie. Plus, there’s Isabela Merced, Young Mazino, Kaitlyn Dever, and Catherine O’Hara in a secret role.
“The Last of Us” is based on a popular video game about Joel and Ellie’s journey through a world destroyed by a pandemic. Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann are making sure the show stays true to the exciting game.
