One of the most critically appreciated Hindi films of 2023 is finally making its way to the OTT platform later this month. Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur is set to start streaming on the Zee5 app. The film released on the 1st of December did a moderately good work at the Box office but both the fans and critics believe the film deserved much more than that.
Sam Bahadur is based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The movie tells the story of his life from his days at the academy till his retirement. Vicky Kaushal has played the role of Sam Manekshaw in the film.
Other than him, the movie features Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. Ronnie Screwvala produced the movie under the banner of RSVP movies.
Sam Bahadur has an impressive rating of 8.2 on IMDb and 94 percent of Rotten tomatoes. The film managed to collect 130 crore at the Box office even after stiff competition with Animal. Sam Bahadur is going to start streaming on Zee5 from the 26th of January.
