Comedian Venu, who made waves with Balagam, is directing a film titled Yellamma. The story went through several actors before reaching Devi Sri Prasad. Though there’s no official announcement yet, talk in the industry says DSP will make his acting debut with this film.
Meanwhile, discussions about his marriage have been around for years. Fans and media often ask him about it, but he has stayed single. Recently, Devi Sri Prasad appeared on Jagapathi Babu’s talk show, where Jagapathi Babu asked him to choose between becoming a hero and getting married.
DSP replied without hesitation. He said he would pick anything over marriage and that his main goal right now is to become a hero. He also shared that he has been listening to scripts for quite some time, though he didn’t confirm Yellamma officially.
During the show, DSP expressed deep admiration for Mega Star Chiranjeevi. He said he always dreamed of making Chiranjeevi dance to his tune, and that dream came true with Shankar Dada MBBS. Even today, he feels emotional whenever Chiranjeevi performs to his music.
DSP also spoke about his most memorable songs. He said “Nuvvu Nuvvu” from Khadgam remains close to his heart, and he worked extra hard to create “Aa Ante Amalapuram” for Arya.
