There were lots of speculations that Kamal Haasan was in talks to do one of the lead roles in the Atlee-Salman Khan Project. After the blockbuster success of Jaawan, Atlee was interested in directing a movie with Allu Arjun in the lead, but due to some budget issues, the movie was shelved. Recently, there have been lots and lots of rumours that Atlee is joining hands with Salman Khan for a pan-Indian project.
Earlier reports mentioned that Atlee is planning to cast a South Indian star for one of the leads, none other than Rajinikanth. But sometimes, after this rumour, there isn’t any news or update about this film. Recently, there was a strong buzz that Kamal Haasan was going to replace Rajinikanth’s role in the Atlee-Salman Khan Project.
Recently, in the Indian-2 promotional event, Atlee was invited, and in the show, Atlee praised Kamal Haasan, saying that he is the encyclopaedia and bible of cinema, and he also mentioned that he is going to crack a script to cast Kamal Haasan in the lead. As per the buzz and Atlee’s speech at the event, there was a lot of probability for casting Kamal Haasan in his pan-Indian movie. Anyway, nothing has been finalised, and there isn’t any official news, so we have to wait until the announcement.
