
Netflix series Delhi Crime is all set to return with its third season, which is currently in the post-production stage. Although a release date is yet to be confirmed, a few details about the new season are out now and grabbing a lot of attention on social media.
Notably, the upcoming season will be based on the Baby Falak Case that happened back in 2012, where a helpless child was trapped in abuse and trafficking.

Falak was around two years old when she was hospitalized with head injuries alongside bite marks, and broken limbs. An investigation into the case disclosed that the victim was a victim of human trafficking.
The upcoming season will mark the return of Shefali Shah, portraying Vartika Chaturvedi. However, the makers have opted for a unique choice this time in terms of the villain, with Huma Qureshi. The actress will appear as a ruthless trafficker involved in criminal activities.

Although Huma is not being accepted so easily on the big screen, it seems like audiences might love to see her as the antagonist this time. Moreover, it is something that Huma has never attempted in the past.
Apart from this, the regular cast members, such as Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang, and Adil Hussain, would reprise their roles. Considering that it is a new season, we might get to see a few more new faces.
