“Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar” is getting everyone excited! And why not?
Huge star cast, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, grand sets and unseen format can leave any cinephile excited. Finally, the trailer was unveiled yesterday. As the series is set for a May 1st release, heavy promotions are on.
Heeramandi is all about the lives of women called tawaifs who lived in the Heera Mandi part of Lahore during the time when India was fighting for independence from British rule.
The show has some big stars like Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, and others playing the main characters. But what really got people talking is that Fardeen Khan is coming back to acting after not being in movies for 14 years!
Not that he is a huge star or something but his long-awaited return and chocolaty boy image have left the fans of the 2000s very excited. In fact, when the male cast was announced then he was the only one whom the audience was talking about. Some other actors like Adhyayan Suman did get to speak in the trailer, but some people didn’t think he did a good job. Absurd body language and crappy delivery didn’t go well with the fans.
Sadly, no dialogue of Fardeen Khan was featured in the trailer. He was the only man people were excited for and we got to see only glimpses of the man.
Fans are really hoping Fardeen Khan will have a big part in the show. They want to see how he does after such a long break from acting.
So, while we wait for “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar” to come out, all eyes are on Fardeen Khan and the other male actors to see what they bring to the table.
