The most iconic comedy movie series from the 2010s is ready to make a comeback for the fifth time.
Housefull 5 is in the works and has been announced by Amazon Prime Video Presents, where the streaming giant revealed its annual line-up.
Sajid Nadiadwala will be producing the movie just like the previous ones in the series. It will star Akshay Kumar and Reitesh Deshmukh, who has been a part of all the movies in the series, even though the stories have been unrelated in the movies. It is reported that legendary actors Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor have joined the cast as well.
It will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani. It was slated to hit the screens on Diwali this year but has been pushed back to next year given makers’ demands to make it the best they could.
It will release in cinemas on 5 June 2025 followed by premiering on Prime Video at a later date.
