Director Irene Taylor’s film for Amazon MGM Studios, used footage of young Celine and present Celine and went back and forth with the footage to make a beautiful sequence in the documentary.

As it is a documentary we see Celine directly talking through the camera with her fans and she explained about her struggle. According to her she was still working while she was diagnosed, she admitted that it was very hard for her to balance the work life with this disease.

“I’m working everyday. But I have to admit, it’s been a struggle,” the iconic songstress says at one point in the trailer as she hints at a possible return to the stage and touring.

This Illness restricted her from performing as it stiffened the muscle movements so she was unable to use her vocal muscles as well.

“I miss it so much, the people. I miss them,” an emotional Dion reveals before footage of her in the recording booth signals her battle to return to the concert stage.

This illness not only physically but also mentally and psychologically broke her, with rigorous workout and vocal exercises she was able to recover herself.

Dion adds she hopes I Am: Celine Dion helps others who may have similar symptoms summon their own courage, speak to their doctor and find out whether they too have Stiff Person Syndrome.
