A major glitch in the servers of Jio Cinema has caused an interruption in the live streaming of India vs Australia 1st T20I.
On X, formerly Twitter, many users shared the same complaint of not being able to stream the match on the app. In the screenshot shared on X, the app was asking for an update but even after updating, the glitch persisted.
Jio Cinema has seen unprecedented growth in the streaming industry starting with free IPL earlier this year and bagging rights for domestic matches of the Indian cricket team.
The reason for the glitch is not known yet. Though the unavailability of services was experienced by only some of the users. Still, it calls for attention as it should not have happened by a website as big as Jio Cinema.
On a different note, the Aussies batted first and scored 208/3 in the 20 overs. Josh Inglis scored a ton (110 off 50 balls).
Both the teams have rested their main players after the WC final. Matthew Wade is the captain for Australia while India is being led by Suryakumar Yadav.
