JioHotstar is the home for several sporting events and is a huge destination for 4K live streaming of such events.
However, users have experienced low quality in recent sporting events, including the India vs England Test Series and the recent Tennis event, Wimbledon.
While many were frustrated with the way JioHotstar streamed the premium Tennis event, others reported how JioHotstar randomly changed streams during crucial matches.
One user further stated how poor the quality of the stream was despite a good internet connection and a premium subscription.
Even having a 200 Mbps broadband connection couldn’t provide a Full HD video quality during the Wimbledon final, stated a user.
Though users somehow bore the errors that happened during Wimbledon, the upcoming events JioHotstar has are also crucial.
While the India vs England Test series remains to be monitored, the streaming platform also offers live streaming for the Premier League, which is on the rise in India.
It remains to be seen how the streaming giant will take steps to rectify this video quality problem during live streaming sporting events ahead.
