In a riveting turn of events, Netflix India has now released the trailer for one of the most awaited shows of the year, The Great Indian Kapil Show! The show not only marks household favourite Kapil coming back on the stage but also brings with it a series of new events and nostalgic rides, hopefully all for the best.
The trailer which released at 2pm IST showed glimpses of what’s about to come and trust us it’s going to be one fun ride! The trailer opens up with Kapil announcing that the show is now on Netflix and hence a change is necessary, the change being him flaunting his noteworthy and infamous English skills.
However, the centre of attention was the return of Kapil’s one of the most beloved characters, any guesses? Right, who else but everyone’s favourite Gutthi! Played by Sunil Grover, Gutthi was one key factor which took Kapil where he is today but sadly, the two comedians parted ways after a fight on a plane midway. But tighten your seatbelts, for this time, it’s a reunion and it seems that the two artists are now cool as they even made a joke on stage regarding the ‘small’ quarrel they once had.
The trailer further showcased multiple superstar guests making their appearance on the sets, a few of them being household names like Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, Indian Cricket Team Captain Rohit Sharma and pop singer Diljit Dosanjh, who pointed out that the moment he heard of the show getting performed in multiple countries, there was only one man who could have pulled it off other than himself, and that man being Kapil ofcourse.
