The teaser of ‘Lootere’ has already generated excitement among fans. Now, the trailer released today confirms the notion that Hansal Mehta is one of the best directors we have in today’s times. He is a man known for giving us compelling stories. His wide range of filmography includes movies like ‘Shahid,’ ‘Citylights,’ ‘Aligarh,’ ‘Omerta,’ and ‘Faraaz.’ He also received immense love for the ‘Scam 1992’ series.
He is back with another gripping series. In the 2 minutes 11 seconds trailer, we see a bunch of pirates aiming for a ship. There comes Rajat Kapoor playing the role of the ship captain who seems to get the threat coming towards them. Before anyone could think more, these pirates take a mini missile launcher and aim towards the ship. We also see Amir Ali, who is back on screen after a long time.
The trailer successfully generates excitement among the people and acts as a new fresh idea on OTT. Pirates have never been a staple idea for Indian shows, but this one seems like a genuine thrill ride. Lootere is streaming from March 22 only on Disney+ Hotstar.
