The trailer for Netflix’s upcoming film ‘Test’ has now been revealed and it looks like a promising film.
The movie stars a stellar cast of R. Madhavan, Siddharth and Nayanthara in leading roles and it is directed by S. Sashikanth. But it does not seem to have the hype that it deserves.

The movie looks promising and considering the filmography of the lead actors, it does seem to be a film with potential. ‘Test’ is a Tamil film but is dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
It will be very improbable that the movie is not being hyped because it is in Tamil. There have been previous direct-to-OTT movies in Tamil with huge anticipation.

Even after the trailer has been released, netizens seem to be unnaturally silent about the movie. Probably once ‘Test’ releases on the 4th of April, the word of mouth will work in favour of the movie and more people will be talking about it.
Probably one reason behind this is Test is not an original produced by Netflix. It was bought by the platform for a direct-to-OTT release.
