OTT Disaster? YRF’s Loyalty vs Audience Brutality

Mandala Murders

The recent Netflix release “Mandala Murders” featuring Vaani Kapoor in the key role is gathering pretty much a hefty amount of criticism for its underwhelming performance.

The series is nothing but a mixture of everything, and this is literally true “A Mixture”, they left no theme aside everything is in the series supernatural element, Politics, mythology, action legitimate everything.

But, fans are more disappointed with the casting of Vaani Kapoor in it, as it looks like she is a misfit in the “Mandala Murders” cast.

Previously we have seen Vaani in many movies like, “Befikre”, “Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui”, “Shamshera”, and most of them are low-key box office flops.

Don’t get me wrong she is in hit movies as well like “War”, “Raid 2” but she isn’t the main focus of the movie, rather in a very small side role, so that sums it up for Vaani Kapoor.

But, after stepping into OTTs her fate didn’t change a bit, with “Mandala Murders” she again proved why audiences don’t like her in the key role.

With underwhelming performance, not up to the mark dialogue delivery, less expression and not being able to bring the depth in the character Vaani Kapoor is once again facing the critics.

Even after being a member of Yash Raj Films, Vaani is not improving her way of acting, it’s not possible for a production house to push an actress every time.

In an era where we thrive in the digital realm, actors and actresses should understand that audiences are less forgiving; they won’t stay with a series or a movie which to them would look like a waste of time.
