Marvel, while it is said to have lost its charm since “Endgame,” is constantly being criticized for producing dull movies. The recent Marvel release received a very poor response from both audiences and critics. Now, it seems that the studio is trying to explore the world of animation, where it all began.
Recently, the makers have confirmed a few animated shows set to be released in 2024. They also need some time to contemplate what is going wrong for them. They have planned a series on Black Panther titled “Eyes of Wakanda.” Additionally, they have a special gift for Spider-Man fans with another series, “Spider-Man: Freshman Year,” which was retitled to “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.” It will be based on a similar concept to the “What If” episodes.
Another show titled “X-Men ’97” has also been confirmed, although further details are awaited.
At a time when the release of a Marvel movie used to be a grand event for all, it has now lost its charm. Therefore, it’s better for them to take some time to reanalyze their approach. In the meantime, they can run these animated shows and try to understand the audience’s pulse.
