On June 13, 2024, The Boys Season 4 will debut on Prime Video. In it, Billy Butcher rejoins his old squad in an attempt to save Ryan, his son. Fans are interested in The Boys: Mexico and other spin-offs’ futures, though. Negotiations are still ongoing between the project’s early adopters and the pilot’s writer.
The Boys: Mexico is a 2023 spin-off starring Gael García Bernal as Werewolf by Night and Mozart in the Jungle, executive produced by Diego Luna. There is no direct comic book counterpart, and the plot of the series is yet unclear. If it was a hit, it would be the third in a growing line of spin-offs from The Boys.
Both reviewers and fans of anime have praised the success of the popular series The Boys. Positive reviews were given to the inaugural season of The Boys Presents: Diabolical, which was a compilation of stand-alone stories.
Students at Godolkin University School of Crimefighting who wanted to join The Seven were the focus of the second season, Gen V. However, Chance Perdomo’s passing forced a halt to production.
Though there has been no official confirmation, rumours point to a possible animated Boys spin-off based on the original comics. New TV series like Invincible Season 3 and The Penguin TV show will be available soon, in addition to The Boys: Mexico.
