Malayalam cinema has been on a roll of late with multiple box office winners since the start of 2024. In fact, Malayalam cinema is the best-performing industry down south since the start of this year both in terms of box office numbers and also consistency in hits.
Now, the stage appears to be set for the OTT debut of Malayali box office blockbuster Aavesham.
As per reports, Aavesham will be made available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from the 9th of this month. This film has Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, and he is a known face to the Telugu audience as he was seen earlier in Pushpa.
It is a proper commercial potboiler with all the necessary commercial ingredients Fahadha absolutely drives the film with his zestful presence. It is worth watching at least for Fahadh’s fiery presence.
But unlike Premalu which is a happy-going rom-com, Aavesham has a different commercial track so its prospects are to be judged on how the Telugu OTT folk will receive it.
