Hai Junoon! Dream. Dare. Dominate. (JioHotstar – May 16 | Hindi)

A musical drama series by Abhishek Sharma. The story revolves around two rival groups, Misfits and SuperSonics, led by Pearl (Jacqueline Fernandez) and Gagan (Neil Nitin Mukesh). The competition is fierce but it’s also about the participants’ journey of self-discovery.

Maranamass (SonyLIV – May 15 | Malayalam)

A dark comedy thriller set in Kerala where serial killings have terrorised the state. The government offers a reward for the capture of the killer. Luke, a popular YouTuber played by Basil Joseph, becomes the prime suspect after sharing a bus ride with the real killer.

Love, Death & Robots Volume 4 (Netflix – May 15 | English)

The Emmy-winning animated anthology returns with ten new episodes. This season has various timelines and styles including live-action by Rhys Darby and a string-puppet band version of Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Wolf Man (JioHotstar – May 17 | English)

Leigh Whannell’s horror film. Starring Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner. Writer Blake Lovell goes to rural Oregon with his family and inherits a property after his father’s disappearance. After an animal attack, Blake becomes infected and turns into a monster.

Bet (Netflix – May 15 | English)

A psychological crime thriller based on the Manga Kakegurui. Yumeko, a transfer student with a hidden agenda, disrupts the gambling-based hierarchy of her boarding school with her unmatched skills and thirst for revenge.

Dear Hongrang (Netflix – May 16 | Korean)

A historical mystery melodrama about a man who claims to be the missing heir of a rich family in Joseon. With no memory of his past, his identity causes family conflict and reveals secrets.

Overcompensating (Amazon Prime Video – May 15 | English)

A comedy drama about Benny, a closeted former football player trying to fit in at college. He befriends outsider Carmen while struggling to accept and reveal his sexuality.

American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden (Netflix – May 14 | English)

A documentary series about the decade long hunt for Osama bin Laden after 9/11. Includes rare footage and interviews with US officials involved in Operation Neptune Spear that led to Osama’s death in 2011.

Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story (Netflix – May 14 | English)

A docuseries about Fred and Rose West, the notorious UK serial killers who murdered and buried multiple women in their home known as the ‘House of Horrors’. Includes police interviews and first person accounts.
