Criminal Justice: A Family Matter (JioHotstar – May 29 | Hindi)
Cast: Pankaj Tripathi, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Surveen Chawla, Asha Negi.
Pankaj Tripathi is back as lawyer Madhav Mishra. This time he takes on a case where both husband and wife are accused of murder. The victim? Their daughter’s caretaker — who was also close to the family. Expect courtroom twists, drama and Madhav’s witty style.
KanKhujura (SonyLIV – May 30 | Hindi)
Cast: Roshan Mathew, Mohit Raina, Mahesh Shetty, Sarah Jane Dias.
A psychological thriller about two brothers — one just released from jail, the other trying to move on. Set in Goa, this is a dark and layered story about the past catching up. Based on the Israeli series Magpie.
Thudarum (JioHotstar – May 30 | Malayalam)
Directed by Tharun Moorthy, Thudarum is a Malayalam crime thriller about love, guilt and justice. Mohanlal is powerful in this grounded and emotional story. One of the most talked about Malayalam films this year.
Hit: The Third Case (Netflix – May 29 | Telugu)
Cast: Nani, Srinidhi Shetty.
The third film in the HIT series. Nani plays an officer who lands in Kashmir to investigate a brutal serial murder case. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu. The film released in theatres on May 1, now it’s streaming.
Retro (Netflix – May 31 | Tamil)
An orphan searches for his parents and ends up facing betrayal and danger. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Action, love and plot twists.
Good Boy (Amazon Prime Video – May 31 | Korean)
Cast: Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, Lee Sang—yi, Heo Sung-tae, Tar Won- seok.
Medal-winning athletes become cops. Crime, comedy and romance. A good one for K-drama fans.
Mountainhead (JioHotstar – June 1 | English)
Four tech billionaires watch a financial crash unfold at a luxury retreat in the mountains. Directed by Succession creator Jesse Armstrong.
