Param Sundari OTT Reviews Brutal: Painful to Watch?

Param Sundari Prime Video negative reviews

Sidharth Malhotra and Jahnvi Kapoor’s latest film, Param Sundari, is now streaming on Prime Video but the response from OTT viewers has been far from positive.

After a disappointing theatrical run, fans expected the film to perform better on digital release. However, the early audience reactions suggest that Param Sundari has failed to impress even on streaming.

While loyal fans of Sidharth Malhotra may still enjoy his screen presence, neutral viewers have found the film hard to sit through. Many called it a “predictable” and “poorly written” romantic drama with cliché twists and forced humour.

The film revolves around a North Indian boy who falls in love with a South Indian girl, exploring their cultural differences through an overly familiar love story. Viewers criticised the narrative for lacking freshness and energy, calling it repetitive and slow-paced.

Social media users have also taken issue with Jahnvi Kapoor’s Malayalam accent, describing it as “cringeworthy” and inconsistent throughout the film. One viewer wrote, “A film so terrible that literally nothing about it makes it even slightly exciting to watch.”

Despite the criticism, Param Sundari might still find an audience over the weekend as more users explore the rom-com on Prime Video. Its streaming performance in the coming days will reveal if word-of-mouth can turn things around.
