Retro After Sikandar: Netflix Only Acquiring Flops?

Retro on Netflix

Suriya’s ‘Retro’ is now all set to have its OTT premiere on Netflix but the subscribers of the platform do not feel very excited about it. ‘Retro’ has been a disaster in the theaters and has very low anticipation on OTT as well.

Before this, just a few days ago, Netflix streamed Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ which was another flop and users are now asking a very valid question. Is Netflix determined to buy the rights of flop movies only?

The originals of the platform are in a very bad state and people have continuously criticized the platform for projects like ‘The Royals’, ‘The Jewel Thief’ and more.

But now, even the feature films that are being bought by Netflix seem to be of average quality. Subscribers are frustrated with why the platform is not getting anything worth the money.

Sikandar is being trolled on Netflix and the platform is consistently losing its face in the Indian OTT scene. With average movies being bought and below average originals sanctioned, Netflix India is in a pathetic condition and it will have to bring something extraordinary to recover from this slump.
