There are some series which have set industry standards that are just too high to match. Rarely comes a show that can be compared with the likes of these. However, this historical epic from FX has made a big name for itself with the first previews. Shōgun has received a lot of praise from the critics and the show is being compared with the legendary Game Of Thrones.
Shōgun is based on the 1975 novel of the same name by James Clavell. The epic series unravels the clash of two cultures as an English ship gets wrecked on a Japanese shore carrying technology of the time.
The show hasn’t been released for the public yet but the preview has garnered a lot of praise from critics all around. According to them, actors like Hiroyuki Sanada, Anna Sawai and Cosmo Jarvis have played a splendid role in the series.
The preview has got the fans excited who are waiting eagerly for the series. The first episode of the series will start streaming on Hulu on the 27th of February, 2024.
