In the second half of 2024, Kollywood is looking very strong with its back-to-back biggies and also with the small-budget movies. Many promising small-budget movies are lined up for release in the coming months.
It’s a healthy state for an industry if the small-budget movies perform well in the box office, as with an aspiring actor, and in a minimum budget, if the movie works well, it may bring handsome profits to the production houses, which ends up resulting in the prominent growth of an industry.
Starting with Karthi’s Meiyazhagan, this movie was directed by Prem Kumar, and the music for this movie was composed by Govind Vasantha. This movie was tentatively planned to release in the month of September. Bottle Radha is the story of an alcoholic, starring Guru Somasundaram in the lead and produced by Pa Ranjith’s Neelam Production.
The trailer for this movie was released a few days ago and received a positive response from critics and movie buffs. This movie is going to be released soon. Vijay Antony’s Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan, directed by Vijay Milton, who is well known for his previous movies such as Goli Soda and 10 Endrathukulla, is also planning to release in the coming months. Other than these, Arulnidhi’s Demonte Colony 2, Vimal’s Sir, Vetri Maaran’s Viduthalai 2, and Kavin’s Bloody Begger were also planning to release in the coming months.
Although all these movies were planned to release in the coming months, there aren’t any proper updates or release dates for these promising movies. This is the major drawback of Tamil production houses when delivering small-budget movies.
