In the scene, an elderly couple is seen discussing about a sex toy and what it can be and then they decide it is a variant of the Shivalingam and start worshipping it. This has offended netizens and many have called out this offensive joke on Hindu faith.
People are talking about banning Ullu and this is not the first time something like this is happening. Ullu has become the subject of public wrath because of its soft porn shows even before. And netizens say it has now become a trend to make fun of Hindu beliefs in the new shows.

A complete ban on the platform might not be feasible for this scene but there are chances of legal actions being taken against the platform for hurting religious sentiments of people. And netizens are counting on it.
