ZEE5 has announced a big lineup of new content across seven Indian languages, with a strong focus on Telugu films, web series, live sports, and AI-based content.
For Telugu audiences, the platform has lined up several major projects.
The biggest highlights include Nandamuri Balakrishna’s NBK111, the much-awaited Venkatesh-Anil Ravipudi film, and Naga Chaitanya’s Vrushakarma. These big-ticket films are expected to arrive on ZEE5 after their theatrical releases.
On the web series side, ZEE5 announced Srimati, starring Nivetha Thomas, and Objection My Lord, featuring Srikanth. The platform is also bringing back the popular talk show Jayammu Nischayammuraa.
To expand its Telugu content library, ZEE5 has partnered with leading production houses such as Annapurna Studios, Sri Venkateswara Creations, Sithara Entertainments, Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, and Vruddhi Cinemas.
Apart from Telugu, ZEE5 also revealed a strong Hindi lineup. It includes Kambli, based on the life of former cricketer Vinod Kambli, The Scam: Leaked, Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai 2.0 hosted by R. Madhavan, Rangbaaz 4, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Bandar, and Bharat Bhagya Vidhata.
The platform also announced new films and web series in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, and Bengali, along with new seasons of several popular regional shows.
ZEE5 is also expanding into live sports. It has secured streaming rights for tournaments such as FIFA, the Bundesliga, ILT20 Season 5, and the Tamil Nadu Kabaddi League.
The platform is also investing in AI-powered storytelling and animation. New projects include Vikram Bethal, Tirupati Balaji, and Rama Anjaneya Yuddham.
With this wide range of films, web series, sports, and AI content across multiple languages, ZEE5 is making a strong effort to compete with other major OTT platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar in India.
