3 Idiots to Phalke: Aamir Khan’s Changing Colors?

Aamir Khan Dadasaheb Phalke biopic update

Aamir Khan, despite facing a rough phase, is working to connect again with audiences. His next project is a biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke, marking another collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani and drawing attention from fans and industry watchers.

Earlier reports suggested delays because Aamir wanted script changes. However, Dadasaheb Phalke’s grandson, Chandrashekhar Srikrishna Pusalkar, clarified that the final draft is already being prepared. He confirmed that the project is moving ahead as planned.

Pusalkar revealed that Aamir grew emotional and even cried while reading certain moments from Phalke’s life. He added that Aamir is giving creative inputs during the process, showing his deep involvement with the film’s storytelling.

He also shared that filming will begin in January at Film City in Goregaon. Fans are happy with this update, though some still worry about rumours of creative differences between Aamir and Rajkumar, especially regarding the film’s tone.

Some argue that Aamir reportedly wanted more comedy, like 3 Idiots and PK. Others believe such differences are natural in filmmaking, especially between close collaborators. For now, audiences wait to see if the Phalke biopic becomes Aamir’s big-screen comeback.
