Aamir Khan recently spoke about love, divorce, and his current relationship with Gauri Spratt on Prime Video’s “Two Much” chat show with Kajol and Twinkle Khanna. He opened up about his personal journey, sharing honest reflections on breakups and new beginnings.
The actor turned 60 this year and introduced Gauri as his partner during the celebrations. He called his breakups with Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao “traumatic,” admitting it was hard to move on. Yet, he described both as “wonderful people” who remain part of his family.
Aamir explained his views on relationships. For him, commitment defines a bond more than legal papers. “If you are really connected with the person, it is like marriage,” he said, stressing the depth of true companionship.
He highlighted his committed relationship with Gauri, describing it as meaningful with or without marriage. Twinkle Khanna added wit by saying, “love is blind but marriage is like a magnifying glass,” sparking candid conversation.
Reflecting on past heartbreaks, Aamir said, “It is also part of growing up, learning things. You realise things about yourself.” His openness showed self-awareness and growth through personal challenges.
Closing the discussion, Aamir underlined the importance of understanding and commitment over ceremony. He expressed happiness with Gauri Spratt, showing that love and companionship can be rediscovered at any stage of life.
