Aamir Khan’s fans are waiting for their favourite superstar’s big comeback. The post-pandemic phase has not been so good for Aamir, specifically after the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha and Sitaare Zameen Par.
Meanwhile, Aamir’s choices and decisions have now left his fans confused. While he was supposed to be a part of various projects, most of them have been shelved or are not expected to happen so soon. This has even raised concern that Aamir might not appear on the big screen for a few more years.
Three planned biopics based on Rakesh Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Dadasaheb Phalke have been shelved. Apart from this, a planned superhero film with Lokesh Kanagaraj also met with the same fate. Aamir also left a biopic based on Ashneer Grover, and the sequel to 3 Idiots is not expected to happen so soon.
Netizens have now reacted by saying that Aamir is taking the tag of Mr. Perfectionist too seriously. They said that Aamir should now simply show some confidence in a director who has a good track record and sign a film instead of making audiences wait.
Some others stated that Aamir’s interference in the director’s creative work has possibly impacted the fate of the planned projects. This was in reference to reports that Aamir had creative differences or was unsatisfied with the script. People said that Aamir should stop sharing his opinion about the storyline of any film and start trusting the director.
Fans have also reacted by saying that Aamir should now come out of his comfort zone and sign something that matches his reputation of being a superstar. A few even stated that he can try action films, considering that he has hardly done movies in this genre.
As of now, Aamir’s Lalkaar, with Ashutosh Gowariker, is happening for sure. It remains to be seen if things will progress normally or if this one will also get shelved for some reason.
