Bollywood has been facing the negative impact of the dry season since the beginning of 2024. A few films turned out to be successful and the rest could not fulfil the expectations of the audience despite having a lot of hype.
In between all these, a few horror films arrived that were able to bring some relief to the multiplexes and big screens. The latest in the list is Stree 2, which marks the second project released by the Maddock Supernatural Universe this year.
The horror comedy broke the opening day box office records which was not made by any other Hindi film this year. While the special appearances and hints given for the upcoming films have already increased the excitement among the public, Abhishek Banerjee, who plays one of the leads, has shared an update about Stree 3.
While speaking to Indian Express, the Paatal Lok star revealed that the script for Stree 3 is ready and it will be bigger than the second part. He additionally stated that although filming is going to consume a lot of time, audiences won’t have to wait for a long time like they had to for Stree 2.
Another cast member, Aparshakti Khurana, said that the third film was planned before the release of Stree 2. Notably, producer Dinesh Vijan disclosed during the trailer launch event that Stree 3 was already written.
Although Stree 3 will take some time to arrive on the screen, audiences will get to enjoy more of the Maddock Supernatural Universe since Bhediya 2 and Vampires of Vijay Nagar are on the way.
