As the song Dil E Nadaan from housefull 5 was launched today fans couldn’t help but notice that Akshay Kumar has changed his DP to India’s flag. The Sajid Nadiadwala production, Housefull 5, is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and has a very esteemed ensemble cast.
It includes Akshay, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Chunky Pandey, Sanjay Dutt, Jacky Shroff, Fardeen Khan, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa amongst others. The songs and teasers have been releasing as it nears its release on 6 June.
Fans felt that Akshay is trying to gauge the nationalist sentiment by using India’s flag in the DP. He is leaving no stone unturned to gather as much support as he can for his film but they felt that it is cheap to use the tricolour for this purpose.
He is already suffering with box office failures, he needs this success more than anyone else. The film has high hopes of fans and makers and if it fails to make anything less than 300 crore rupees it would be a big shame for Akshay.
