Sky Force vs Fighter

Bollywood saw two big action films Fighter (2024) and Sky Force (2025). With Hrithik Roshan and Akshay leading the charge, both aimed to rule the box office. While Fighter held on, Sky Force crashed despite heavy marketing.

According to trade analysts, Fighter opened with ₹24.6 crore net and closed at ₹205 crore net in India, verdict-Average.

Sky Force was expected to end at ₹110 crore net, got 50-60% of its earnings from self bookings and heavy ticket discounts. Once the discounts stopped, the film’s numbers collapsed and it got a Flop verdict.

Siddharth Anand’s Fighter had big visuals and Hrithik-Deepika’s star power, so it held on. Sky Force had a patriotic theme but relied too much on marketing tricks.

Discounts inflated its early numbers but once they stopped, audience interest disappeared.

Hrithik Roshan selective films make his films special, while Akshay’s frequent films have diluted his box office impact.

Fighter is the clear winner, earned almost double of what Sky Force did. Akshay’s struggle continues, marketing tactics can’t replace real demand. Today only strong content is the key to success!
