Hera Pheri

Producer Firoz Nadiadwala has finally paid off his dues to Eros International, finally gaining back the rights to ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Awara Paagal Deewana’, and ‘Welcome’. This settlement clears the way for the producer to finally start working on the 3rd instalment of the cult-classic Hera Pheri franchise.

The news has sent a wave of excitement among fans, who are thrilled to once again witness the trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty making them laugh on the big screen. Social media platforms have been flooded with comments ever since the announcement was made.

One user commented on X, “Finally! Can’t wait for #HeraPheri3. It’s been too long!” while another wrote, “The OG trio is back, and this time, we know it’s real!” These comments only highlight the greater desire of the public for a sequel, which now feels to be more materialized than ever.

Firoz is currently working on producing the ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, which is the 3rd instalment in the Welcome franchise. The movie is set to hit the theatres in 2025, so we can expect the work on Hera Pheri 3 to start along that time.

With the first two Hera Pheri instalments getting enormous love from the audience, it would be interesting to see if Firoz Nadiadwala’s strategic gamble pays off, because after all, more expectations also mean a greater risk of failure!
