Backed by production houses like Luminoso Pictures, Civic Studios, Flip Films and Anurag Kashyap’s very own Good Bad Films, the children’s film Little Thomas will be making its world premiere at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). The film will be a debut for director Kaushal Oza and it will star Gulshan Devaiah and Rasika Duggal with the child actor Hridansh Parekh.
Anurag Kashyap made our childhood special with Return Of Hanuman and he’ll be returning to children’s genre with Little Thomas. The film is set in 1990’s Goa where a kid tries to save his parents dwindling relationship by bringing them together in a desire for a baby brother. Only the film’s release can tell us how successful Little Thomas will be in his mission! The makers believe that a film like Little Thomas not only entertains the kids but imbibes positive virtues in them.
Anurag Kashyap has lately made his name for serious projects, whether he takes up acting, direction or production. He is known for his projects like Gangs Of Wasseypur, Ugly, Maharaja, and That Girl In Yellow Boots. But this sweet and cute children’s film will reprise his versatility. After making its premiere in IFFM that will be held from 15-25 August, the film shall be set for big-screen release.
