Attempt To Kill Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana?

Ranbir Kapoor Ramayana

Indians have a different kind of love for Ramayana. For that particular fanbase, a film that was released back in the 90s is finally arriving on the big screen. Titled Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama, it was an anime film helmed by Yugo Sako but the release was banned in India to avoid any kind of controversy.

As per the latest updates, a 4K HD version of this Ramayana is scheduled to be released on October 18 this year. Well-known production companies Excel Entertainment and AA Films have collaborated with Geek Pictures India to bring it to the theatres.

The box office result cannot be predicted for now. But considering the audience’s frustration towards the content of Adipurush last year, people will rush to the ticket counters to watch the film.

Meanwhile, the arrival of this film is now expected to put some pressure on Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana. Directors who usually work on animated films never compromise when it comes to Indian mythology and this means that people might lose their interest in the upcoming Ramayana.

The Bombay Velvet star has already been involved in some controversy due to the character he portrayed in Animal. This could be another reason for the public to avoid Ramayana, which is helmed by Nitesh Tiwari. Notably, the makers have not revealed a first look, teaser, or trailer until now.
