The makers of Awarapan 2 have released the first single of the movie, Ve Junoon, on July 7, 2026. It features the vocals of Subodhh Sharma, with music by Mithoon.
The beginning of the track will undoubtedly remind everyone of the title song of Saiyaara. However, the song slowly brings its uniqueness, and it starts leaving an impression. The visuals are good as the makers have preferred to keep the story a mystery for now.
Notably, the entire composition is good because it takes the listeners back to that period when Emraan Hashmi’s songs used to trend on the charts. While it cannot be confirmed if the same thing will happen this time, the possibilities are very high.
The best part of the song is Emraan’s look as Shivam. The original appearance of the character has been retained with the long hair. Emraan has also not let go of the expression that he maintained in the first film, which was released in 2007. This means that a lot of nostalgic moments can be expected.
On the other hand, netizens were not fully satisfied. People claimed that the song is not as powerful as the teaser. Some even stated that a new version of Toh Phir Aao would have worked in favour of the film. While a few said that this is expected to impact the hype, things might change if the upcoming assets turn out to be better.
But a particular section is supporting the fact that the makers opted to create something original instead of recreating a song from the past. Netizens even claimed that people should give some time to the song to grow and leave a better impact. They said this is necessary, considering that the team of Batwara 1947 has allegedly started a paid negativity for Awarapan 2.
The ongoing situation is still pointing to the fact that Awarapan 2 has better buzz compared to Batwara 1947. However, the biggest question right now is whether the film will take a big opening as expected or it will face the same situation as the first film.
