2024 failed to deliver some amazing results when it came to Bollywood films. Stree 2 recently emerged to be a hit and distributors are expecting the same from Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in Diwali.

After a lineup of failures this year, producers and actors are all set to make a big comeback with multiple sequels in 2025. Considering the success of Stree 2, it seems like the new installments of different franchises are supposed to bring back the lost glory of Bollywood.
Apart from the sequels, some new collaborations could turn out to be blockbusters. One of them is Sikandar with Salman Khan in the lead. Apart from this, Ranveer Singh is joining director Aditya Dhar for a film followed by Toxic with Prabhas, which is helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

The remaining titles are mostly sequels. The latest entry of the YRF Spy Universe, War 2, will also hit the big screen, marking Jr. NTR’s debut in Bollywood. Notably, glimpses from the film’s shooting have been already going viral on social media.
There is also Kantara: Chapter 1 with Rishab Shetty, aiming for a release in the summer of 2025. The makers are yet to share more updates.

Furthermore, Akshay Kumar is planning to add a new hit to his list with Bhooth Bangla, where he is joining Priyadarshan after a long break. The Padman star will appear in three more sequels – Jolly LLB 3, Housefull 5, and Welcome to the Jungle.
Ajay Devgn, who is going through a little bit of ups and downs, will also return to the big screen with Son of Sardaar 2.
