Sid-Jahnvi’s Param Sundari PR Causes Big Trouble

Janhvi and Sidharth at temple visit

Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra’s temple visits have caught everyone’s attention as their film Param Sundari releases today. The romantic drama had good buzz, but trade experts predict the opening day collection may reach only around ₹10 crores due to weak advance bookings.

While the release was approaching, the stars were busy with promotions. Recently, they visited Lalbaugcha Raja during Ganesh Chaturthi festivities. Many fans noted that a big part of Param Sundari promotions included frequent temple visits, making their campaign stand out.

On August 14, which marked Sridevi’s birth anniversary, Janhvi and Sidharth visited the Tirumala Tirupati Balaji Temple. Later, they went to the Mahakaleshwar Temple on August 24, 2025, and to the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple on August 28, seeking blessings for the film.

Videos of these visits were widely shared online. While some felt the duo was genuinely seeking blessings, others argued this looked more like a promotional strategy. They questioned why paparazzi were always present and why PR-driven pages promoted the visits so heavily.

Film promotions have always included creative strategies, but many are now asking if faith is being used as a marketing tool. Fans are waiting to see whether these temple visits can actually help Param Sundari perform better at the box office in the coming weeks.
