After winning hearts with Stree in 2018, director Amar Kaushik is all set to bring Street 2 in theatres this independence day as a part of Maddock Supernatural Universe. We will experience double the horror and comedy in the sequel where we have a more grotesque villain than the last. Chanderi will be haunted by Sarkata and this time the people are chanting “O Street Raksha Karna”.
The cast is similar to Stree and it also has cameos to create more magic. Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee will reprise their scintillating roles with Tamanna Bhatia adding the mirch-masala with her music number. Fans have also been speculating that Bhediya star Varun Dhawan from the horror-comedy universe can also make a cameo in the film. We will have to wait till 15 August to confirm these speculations.
This time the gang of Chanderi boys will team up with bhootiya chudail to fight Sarkata. The spectral romance between Vicky and Chudail is also more funny and mushy in Stree 2. With the news of Stree 3’s development already underway. The fans are only chanting “O Street jaldi ana!” for the release of Stree 2.
