Sikandar’s most-awaited teaser is out now after a long wait. Salman Khan’s fans have already predicted that it would emerge as a blockbuster and the dialogues featured in the latest glimpse have been grabbing a lot of attention.
However, the punchlines have raised the question of whether audiences would clap or whistle on those particular sequences. The dialogues sound clapworthy but they are still missing something.

Earlier this month, there was Himesh Reshammiya’s Badass Ravikumar, whose dialogues also received a positive response from the audience. The dialogues of that film made the audiences recall the old superstars whose punchlines have now become popular among everyone.
Himesh also showcased a lot of energy while speaking those dialogues. But Salman Khan’s way of saying punchlines lack energy and it feels like he is tired and restless after working for multiple hours.

The teaser starts very well when we hear Salman saying, “Daadi ne naam Sikandar Rakha tha, Dada ne Sanjay, aur Praja ne Raja Sahab.” This particular line gives you a feeling that Salman has entered on screen. Unfortunately, the dialogues start sounding very ordinary and like a spoof.
The rhyming also does not work when Salman says “Insaaf nahi, saaf karne aaya hoon.” The dialogue towards the end of the teaser sounds like Salman is trying to make the audience laugh with unintentional comedy by saying, “IPS ka exam dekar police ban jaunga.” Furthermore, the addition of a Gujarati word was also not justified.

This has also proved that Himesh was undoubtedly better than Salman in terms of dialogues. In this case, Salman should be blamed for not delivering the punchlines in a proper way on screen. It’s not that he should retire. Instead, he should give some extra time in such situations to ensure that his fans are satisfied in the end.
But at the same time, the writers should also understand that they are preparing something for Salman Khan and not for someone who has just made his debut in the film industry.
