Due to the unfortunate demise of senior Bollywood star Vinod Khanna, the grand premiere of Baahubali 2 that was planned in Mumbai today has been canceled. Karan Johar who presents the movie in Hindi officially announced it.

The family of Johar is very close to the senior star Vinod Khanna. The late father of Karan Johar, Yash Johar has had a nice relationship with the Khanna. Today when the star has breathed his last due to cancer, it would be inappropriate to have a lavish premiere without any doubt.

Karan Johar said that he had done exactly like his father would have done and without any doubt, it’s a nice gesture on the part of star producer and director. Baahubali 2 will now release directly into cinemas tomorrow, April 28.
