Fans have been eagerly waiting for Mohanlal’s third installment in the Drishyam franchise. Many believed the Hindi version featuring Ajay Devgn might release at the same time. This led to several discussions and online speculation.
Drishyam director Jeethu Joseph put an end to the rumours. He confirmed that the original Malayalam version would release first. When a fan asked about a simultaneous release, he replied, “No… we will release first after 2 months, only they can release”.
Speculation grew after Panorama Studios purchased the film’s theatrical and digital rights. Rumours suggested that the Telugu and Hindi versions starring Ajay Devgn and Venkatesh might release alongside the Malayalam version.
Jeethu Joseph has now clarified the situation. The Malayalam version with Mohanlal will be the first to hit theatres. The film is currently in production and is expected to reach the final stage of shooting soon.
Fans are now waiting to see how the multilingual sequels will turn out. It remains to be seen whether audiences will enjoy the mystery thriller once again.
