Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency is waiting for its release on the big screen. The film was supposed to arrive in September last year but was stuck in censorship issues.
The political thriller is now releasing on January 17, 2025, and a new trailer has now come out for the audience. It shows several thrilling sequences and confrontations, hinting that it might not be a bad choice to buy tickets for this film.

It begins with Anupam Kher’s character writing a letter to the Prime Minister, saying that she is sitting on top of a lion which is in the form of a chair and its roar echoes throughout the world.
There are sequences in the trailer that show the main character being possibly targeted by others and she simply tries to fulfill the responsibilities that come with the position that she holds.

As the trailer suggests that the film would bring out the “told story of India”, we might get to know about things that we are unaware of.
2025 will also mark 50 years since the Emergency that happened back in 1975. Producer Umesh Kr Bansal recently said in a statement that the film will challenge the viewers to “question, engage, and remember the cost of freedom.”

Kangana Ranaut, who plays the lead as Indira Gandhi, said that the film would explore themes that are relevant today. She further stated that the entire team has chosen the best date to release the film considering that it is almost a week before Republic Day.
The latest trailer looks promising but everything depends on the audience’s choice to watch Kangana Ranaut on the big screen.
The actress has become a controversial personality over the years and while people used to praise her performances once, they are now hardly interested in watching her films.
