While the Indian Army aims to eliminate militancy through force, Hashmi’s character believes in tackling the issue by educating people and changing their mindsets.

The special screenings for the film poured in phenomenal reviews and critics are impressed by the visuals and character representation shown in the film.
Many described it to be authentic and power packed with Emraan Hashmi stealing the show being the BSF Commandant.

The story is inspired by the BSF’s real-life operation against Ghazi Baba — the mastermind behind the 2001 Parliament attack and a top commander of the Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).
He was one of India’s most wanted terrorists and was neutralized in an operation in August 2004.
As the film has created a buzz with the inside reports, the only thing to watch out for is that will it be able to convert these reviews into a considerable box office collection or not.
Going by the numbers, Akshay Kumar’s Kesari 2 is not making headlines at the box office as everyone expected it to make despite having phenomenal reviews.
It remains to be seen if Ground Zero will also suffer from the same fate or will it turn out to be a surprise box office hit at the cinemas.
It all comes down to 25th April as Emraan Hashmi makes his way to the big screens portraying a fearless and courageous BSF Commandant fighting for justice and peace.
