Nowadays, endorsing commercial brands has become the major income source for stars and cine celebs. But all the brands they endorse might not be beneficial to the public like endorsing tobacco products, alcohol etc.

Since the Delhi government is committed not to promote tobacco brands like pan masala, it sent letters to star heroes’ wives aka Gauri Khan (Shahrukh Khan’s wife), Kajol (Ajay Devgan’s wife), Malaika Arora Khan and Sunitha (Govinda’s wife).
The letters ask the star wives not to allow their husbands to endorse the tobacco and pan masala brands which are detrimental to the health of people. Earlier, Delhi government sent letters directly to the stars but they didn’t reply.
Hence the govt wanted to make their message heard through stars’ wives. What an idea!
