Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar’s friendship goes back to the time when the former made her debut with Student of the Year. While Johar is well aware of Bhatt’s flawless acting skills, he served as a producer for some of her films, eventually bringing her to the limelight.
While Bhatt had to face the wrath of the public for her performance in Sadak 2 around four years ago, she proved herself the best with Gangubai Kathiawadi and has not stopped since then.

Bhatt’s most awaited action film Jigra has been in the headlines ever since it was announced last year. As the title suggests, Jigra is expected to have a lot of thrilling action sequences and for now, we have hardly got to see a glimpse. But the wait is over since two posters have been released on social media platforms.
Alia took to her Instagram page to share the posters. The lineup started with Bhatt’s back being shown to the camera along with a few weapons in her hand. This was followed by another where Bhatt’s face was eventually revealed and we can see her wearing a bulletproof vest.

While the overall presentation is good, an intense look on Bhatt’s face could have been better. If we avoid this negative point, the captions feature two one-liners that set the tone of the film, making the audiences think about what they can exactly expect.
The producers have not disclosed a lot of things about Jigra until now. Meanwhile, it will hit the screens on October 11, with the main plot focusing on a sister who would do anything to save her brother. Apart from Bhatt, Jigra also features Vedang Raina, Aditya Nanda, and Sobhita Dhulipala.

The trailer has not been released until now. Even if it manages to impress the audience, Jigra will face heavy competition from Kanguva and Vettaiyan since both are scheduled to arrive a day before.
There is a chance that Vettaiyan, which features Rajnikanth, might pull a lot of people based on the response from the first show, Kanguva is expected to put up housefull boards outside the big screen if we consider the response to the trailer. Kanguva also has Bobby Deol making his Tamil debut, which could be another reason for audiences to make it their first preference.
Casting a Bollywood actor as an antagonist proved to be helpful at the time of K.G.F. Chapter 2 since it had a lot of hype ever since the first part was released. But history did not repeat itself when the same process was repeated for Leo and Double iSmart.
Nothing can be said with conviction for now. Trade analysts and film critics have openly claimed over the years that box office business always depends on the audience. The audience decides to watch a film if they like the trailer.
