The year 2025 is gearing up for a heated box office clash with several big films lined up for release. Trade analysts believe that Jolly LLB 3, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, will be one of the biggest attractions.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the courtroom comedy is expected to earn between ₹10 crore and ₹12 crore on its opening day. While promotions have received a mixed response, strong word-of-mouth after release could give the film a big weekend boost.
On the same day, Anurag Kashyap’s Nishaanchi, starring debutantes Aishvarya Thackrey and Vedika Pinto, will release with an opening prediction of ₹50 lakh to ₹75 lakh. Though smaller in scale, it may appeal to niche audiences.
October 2 will also mark the release of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (SSKTK), featuring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. Early trade estimates suggest an opening of ₹11 crore to ₹12 crore, making it a strong competitor in the festive slot.
At the same time, the highly awaited Kantara Chapter:1 will hit theatres, adding to the clash. Analysts believe the fate of SSKTK could depend heavily on how Kantara performs with audiences. Film lovers are in for an exciting line-up of varied genres.
