CBFC’s Big Action on Jolly LLB 3: No More Frs

Jolly LLB 3 CBFC cuts and runtime update

Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s courtroom drama Jolly LLB 3 is ready for release this weekend. Before its theatrical debut, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) ordered several modifications. Thankfully, none of these changes alter the plot or the film’s message.

The modifications include adding a new disclaimer, blurring alcohol branding, and removing the word “f**r” from all dialogues. A scene showing cops assaulting an old man was edited to reduce violence. Several visible logos were also blurred or altered throughout the film.

Another minor dialogue was changed before the film received a U/A 16+ rating. The final runtime stands at 2 hours and 37 minutes. Makers are relieved that the CBFC’s edits were small and did not impact the story or narrative flow.

Advance bookings for Jolly LLB 3 opened a week ahead of release. With high expectations, fans are curious if Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi can recreate the success of the earlier installments when the film opens in theatres on September 19.
