The Kangana Ranaut and Sonu Sood- starrer “Manikarnika” is yet another most-discussed controversy in the Bollywood network. Directed initially by Telugu director Krish, the movie was completed by Kangana who took the director’s chair once she had completed around 60-70% of it.

Unhappy with the direction the film was taking, Kangana asked Krish to step down, a decision that did not sit well with Sonu Sood.

The movie’s main star, Sonu, left the production for work-related reasons. However, when Kangana said that Sonu was unwilling to collaborate with a woman as his director, things became heated. The argument proved to be misogynistic and unfairly framed Sonu’s choice to leave the movie.

Kangana recently made an appearance in a podcast discussing the ongoing fight. She, without hesitation stated “Those who are angry with me should be angry with me”, reiterated that her personal and professional opinions and commitments have to remain separated from one another and are therefore, an effective employee, with whom she had never found many issues while working.

Sonu Sood, meanwhile, was not impressed with Kangana’s actions, as he described her behaviour as impulsive. Although he never held grudges against her, he could not forget what happened.

His statement reflected the emotional and professional battle he found himself in while debating against Kangana.
