Actress Kangana Ranaut, who was once seen as the ‘Queen’ of Bollywood, is now struggling to find her footing in the very same industry.

Pre-2015, Kangana had become a household name, receiving multiple National Awards and her career trajectory looking better than ever.

Forget success; her films performed so badly at the Box Office that using the word ‘disaster’ would be doing an injustice to it.
Her high-budget films like Dhaakad, Thalaivi, and Tejas, made with a collective budget of Rs.255 Crores, managed to make a catastrophic collection of a mere Rs.17 Crores, according to trade reports.

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi (2019) was her only film that managed to perform somewhat decently, managing a domestic collection of Rs.92 Crores.
While Kangana’s hopes for a comeback are pinned on ‘Emergency’, the film seems to be under a state of emergency itself, as it is struggling to touch the 15-crore mark even after 6 days.
With a decade of flops firmly affixed to her name, it will be very hard for Kangana to make any sort of comeback in the future, making her the ‘fallen queen of Bollywood’.
