Kartik Aaryan’s 2019 hit Luka Chuppi became a decent comedy film directed by Laxman Utekar and produced under Maddock Films by Dinesh Vijan.
While there were no expectations from the rom-com, it had a decent box office outing and earned over 100 crores at the box office.

Led by Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in prominent roles, critics and viewers loved the performances and heavily praised the supporting actors including Pankaj Tripathi for their roles.
According to several sources, Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijan are looking to make a sequel to their 2019 hit film with a twist.

With a supernatural twist in mind along with the traditional humour of the franchise, Dinesh Vijan and Laxman Utekar are planning to make another hit after their 2019 success.
With the writing currently underway, one of Laxman Utekar’s associates is expected to direct the film.

While there is no confirmation regarding the cast of the film, the casting process is expected to begin in the second half of 2026 after scripting is done.
Given the success of the first part, which was due to the commendable performances of a stellar cast, only time will tell if the Luka Chuppi sequel can make an impact like the first part did in 2019.
